This will be a brief report. I just completed my online registration here in Seattle. Since my income placed me automatically on Medicaid, I can't discuss the process of choosing a plan, but the registration piece is straightforward... about the level of complexity of a 1040 EZ. From creating a uid and password to the award of coverage took about 30 minutes... That's 30 minutes.
So from my experience, I would have to say all of the servers (state and fed) are popping and meshing well. Washington State has done an excellent job. I'm an (under)unemployed older person. The program will be a great boon to me. Despite it's faults - there are a few - the ACA provides help precisely to those who need help the most.
The rethugs will never cease to hate Obamacare. Many of their constituents will love it. It will save lives in even the reddest districts. It is worth defending.
